Prevent Pimples From Forming

How to Prevent Pimples

A problem that so many people have across all age groups is getting periodic pimples. Pimples are a cosmetic eye sore and can make your skin look unhealthy. By the time that you notice a pimple is beginning to form, it usually is too late to do anything to stop it. Because of that, it is important to figure out how to prevent pimples. Pimples are formed from a bacterium that gets into your skin and causes the red swelling to come to the surface. Your goal is to prevent any of the germs to get onto your skin, especially on your face. What typically happens is that a bacterium enters your pores and begins to interact with the oil ducts your skin has built into it. The oil ducts trap the bacterium in your pores and slowly a lump forms, eventually resulting in a pimple. This typically happens to teenagers and young adults, but it can happen to people older than those groups.

There are several things that one can do to prevent pimples. The first thing is to keep your face clean. Use soap and water, a facial cleanser, and a moisturizer to keep your skin as healthy as possible. Each method of cleaning your face will greatly reduce the amount of germs on your face and will reduce the chance of a pimple forming. Another thing you need to do is to make sure that you wash your hands several times a day. According to experts, the majority of the bacteria that is transferred to your face are from your hands. It is highly recommended that you refrain from touching your face and clean your hands frequently. The other recommendations that can be given in order to stop the formation of a pimple are to get plenty of sleep, go out into the sun, and do not stress out. Lack of sleep and too much stress can result in hormones that can help to amplify a pimple outbreak. Going out into the sun dries up your face and can help kill bacteria.

It is important to remember that getting a pimple is not the end of the world. While it can be embarrassing and cause you social angst, it is a common occurrence for millions of people. Remember to keep your skin clean and make sure not to do anything to exacerbate an outbreak of pimples. Just to be on the safe side, if you cannot prevent pimples, then you should invest in plenty of treatments to rid yourself of those pesky blemishes.

I don't care what causes it. I just want it gone!
