The Best Backpacks for Ipad
What backpacks are the best for the Apple iPad?
Are you looking for a backpack for your iPad? More than just a fashion statement, these packs are designed to carry your most treasured item. Protecting your iPad from both damage or loss is just a good practice since Apple products are not cheap.
These bags also make great gifts for friends and loved ones. I recently got one for my brother and he uses it to store his tablet, laptop and books for college.
iPad bags are also good for other purposes beyond transporting the tablet wherever you go, such as bringing other items along with like books, laptops, etc. with you. Today, your options better than ever.
Unfortunately, some of the backpacks on the market don't quite meet expectations. That is why I created this review of the Top 3 iPad Backpacks, so you can see the benefits and features that the bestsellers have to offer.
What Makes a Good Backpack for Your Electronic Items
There are a couple of things that you will want to keep in mind when shopping for a backpack for your iPad. The first thing is that the construction and material is of good quality. Having a poor quality product that you have to replace yearly will not work.
There are plenty of options on the market so that you can get the best for your money (one that doesn't wear out easily). Other things that make a great product are the general style points it gets. Since you will be wearing this on your back, keeping fashion in mind is a top priority. Here are some that I recommend checking out:
Thule Crossover Backpack - Top Choice - Fits iPads, MacBooks, and Laptops up to 17 inches
The Thule Crossover is a great iPad backpack that is stylish and functional. Having a backpack that can carry both your laptop or tablet is extremely useful. This particular model has a dedicated sleeve just for the iPad. There is plenty of room inside the pack to store other important items like books, clothing, snacks, etc. A separate compartment for your phone or other fragile items that is heat molded, which keeps those valuables from getting crushed.
Targus 26 Backpack - Great all around backpack for laptops, tablets, books or whatever else you want to carry
I have had good experiences with all types of Targus bags. They are affordable and they last a long time (ideal for students). The Targus 26 backpack is traditionally designed to carry up to a 16 inch laptop, but it also has its own dedicated sleeve for the iPad. I recently picked up this model and I love it. It is stylish, the straps are designed to give the backpack a snug and comfortable fit around the body. I will try to add some of my own pictures soon so you can see the complete backpack (inside and out).
Belkin Backpack (Slim Version) - Superlight and Streamline
The Slim Belkin Backpack only weighs 2 pounds and is super durable. Originally designed to transport up to 15 inch laptop, the Belkin Slip pack does surprisingly well in carrying other essential items. The nice part about getting a Belkin is they are slim and not a noticeable as some of the other models covered here. They kind of remind me of a jet pack....vroooom!
Case Logic Backpack - Water Resistant and Scratch Proof Entry Point
Loading your iPad is a snap with this well designed backpack. The Case Logic RBP-115 pack has a top loading pocket to keep your tablet from getting scratched. The nice and soft material liner also adds another layer of protection. Case Logic has a couple of other sizes for this style and if you also feel like picking up a sleeve for your laptop, this company also carries some.
