So as to help the Greek economy and escape the cold in Austria, my family decided to spend our Easter holidays in the small island of Agistri. We stayed in a small but very friendly hotel, had many walks and went bicycle riding and thoroughly enjoyed the people and their food! It was very charming, just as our previous trips to Corfu, Kos and Santorin!

Since then, he competed in the Sydney Olympics as a semifinalist then studied at UC Berkeley in California while swimming with the Bears with trainer Mike Bottoms. With 8 NCAA and 10 Pac-10 championships under his belt, he went on to win a silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens for Croatia. Later that year, he was named Athlete of the Year.
