Azurite Gemstone - The Healing Stone

Azurite is ablue colored stone. It is formed from the oxidation of copper ores. The name of this stone is derived from the Persian word ‘lajward’ which means ‘blue’. The other names associated with Azurite are 'Blue Bice' and 'Blue Verditer’. This stone is normally found along with malachite gemstones.
