Did you remember watching Jon Montgomery win the Skeleton Olympic Gold Medal at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics? He won the race and then after he got back into Whistler Village someone handed him a jug of beer and he proceeded to drink it. It was Whistler's first Gold Medal of the games and it was a great time had by all. Now you can get your own skeleton experience without the beer. You can go for beer afterward of course.

he Peak to Peak gondola has joined Whistler and Blackcomb Mountain. One can now take the gondola from the top of Whistler Mountain to the top of Blackcomb Mountain. At a cost of $50 Million dollars this gondola is the first of its kind in the world. There are only 4 towers for the whole gondola. There are two towers on Whistler and two towers on Blackcomb. It is a 4 km journey across and the ride takes about 10 minues.
