These twelve films may not be Academy Award material but a good study of content, context, characters, scripts, and props can supply enough amusement for film lovers of all kinds.

Often times in public debate, people think a simple assertion of a right in the Constitution to do something is sufficient to ward off challengers. However, as history shows with slaves being counted as 3/5s of a person, and only white males given the right to vote, the Constitution alone cannot be the only justification used to defend a right. Instead, public discourse would be enhanced if, instead of just a blind assertion of a constitutional right, Americans instead discussed the rationale.
