The Martin D 18 acoustic guitar is less expensive than the Martin D 28, D 35, and D 45 - it's FAR less expensive than the D 50 or D 100 - but the Martin D 18 may very well be a BETTER guitar than any of it's more expensive cousins.

Django Reinhardt-style gypsy jazz is alive and well in Detroit. Two groups are playing at Cliff Bell's and other Detroit Clubs--Hot Club of Detroit and the Gypsy Strings. Mack Avenue Records recently recorded Hot Club of Detroit at Cliff Bell's in a release entitled "Swing One" which can be seen and heard below.
