Drums are important member of the percussion instrument. Most drums are hollow and have a tight skin. They are beaten with the hands or with sticks. There are many different shapes of drum. Hourglass drums are shaped like an egg timer. Goblet drums are shaped like a wine glass. Other drums are shaped like barrels cones or tubes.
