Invisible Oppressor is a piece of dark poetry that is meant to represent the internal struggles one faces when suffering from an "Invisible Illness", such as: FMS/ CFS/ ME, (Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome -aka- Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), Lupus, RA- Rheumatoid Arthritis, & all autoimmune related disorders that cannot be detected outwardly. "Ravaged mind; Stolen thoughts & memories", refers to what has been coined, "Fibro Fog" in the FMS community & it refers to Cognitive dysfunction.
