Del E Webb 1899-1974 A Biography of the Man and His Construction Business

Del E Webb wanted to be a baseball player, but grew to own one of America's best known construction and development companies. Webb was born in California in 1899 and died in 1974. He built hospitals, housing developments such as Sun City in Arizona, business complexes, and casinos in Las Vegas such as the Flamingo, the Sahara and the Mint. At one time he was part owner of the New York Yankees.
