Rochelle Frank’s Hub called Survival in the 1930's is an eye opening account of survival that many people born after 1960 probably cannot imagine -- Unless they were born into the poverty of the poorest Appalachian regions, the most destitute part of a rundown inner city, or a third world country. I have only a few stories to contribute.
