The A Rig also known as the Alabama rig or a swimbait umbrella is the perfect lure choice for anglers looking to cast a whole school of bait fish in one cast. The A rig is designed to allow an angler to present up to 5 indidividual swimbaits at the same time giving the fish the illusion that a school of minnows is lazily swimming by their hideout. This presentation is much more realistic than a lone minnow swimming out in the open so a wary bass is more likely to strike a school than a loner.
