As I noted in my previous hub regarding Heavy Metal magazine, I was mesmerized by the content the illustrated magazine had to offer. Of course, as a young teen I especially appreciated the nude women drawn to be for the most part anatomically correct. Then, I heard on the news about a Canadian movie being released that was going to use Heavy Metal artist to make up the entire movie. I saved up the two dollars and fifty cents (this was 1981) so that I could see the movie.
