The TSA is branching out from airports and is now lending their expertise in identifying guilty-looking people on Houston's buses. Counter-Terrorism sweeps have been initiated in a national pilot program to root out terrorists riding buses. In the sweep, which was not in response to any threat of terrorism, random bag searches and questioning were performed on selected bus routes, bus-stops and stations. Several people were arrested, but no details were forthcoming.
