For years I've wondered what happened to the tax money that I would pay in and never get back. We aren't talking about a few pennies here. We are talking about thousands of dollars a year that we work for and never see. I started really looking into recently when it came to talking about budget cuts in medicaid (again) and in the school systems (some states). With all the money that is paid into taxes, why is there so much that isn't being counted for?
