My grandmother had saved this old 1957 newspaper clipping with recipes and it also had some grocery store ads and prices which caught my attention. Oh to be able to pay prices like that in this day and age! Cute videos from the 1950's showing ads (mostly in black and white) are also shown in this hub along with the prices of canned goods, fresh produce and other things one could purchase in a grocery store.
