Franklin Delano Obama

Barrack Obama has offered "New Deal" solutions for an entirely different era compared to the Great Depression. Public Works projects on bridges, interstates, and dilapidated urban schools won't cut it. Neither will propping Detroit in a global environment where the Big Three aren't competitive. We need targeted incentives toward IT, selected 'green' growth industries and even energy drink makers - if it'll create sustainable, decent jos.

Sequoia National Park ~ Hospital Rock ~ Southwest Native American Indians

Come along and see this scenic area where American Indians years ago spent time grinding their acorns, drawing images (petroglyphs) on large rocks and where bears would have been catching fish in nearby rushing waters. Now a great picnic area within Sequoia National Park, visitors and wildlife share these magnificent environs. Enjoy the photos and videos!

US History: World War II & Aftermath (1935 - 1949)

A political joke and many joining it in 1935 through 1949 seemed to split the two major American polital parties further and futher apart. In the events leading up to the war, The New Deal stimulated the nation's economy and created jobs. It also simulated political discent. However, one man was elected to 4 terms as US President for the only time in history, leading the nation throughout most of WWII. It would be up to others to rebuild the world from the nightmare of war.
