Ocean Noise - The Sounds of Sonar and Whale Beachings
Whales and many marine mammals rely on sound for communication, breeding, navigation, and feeding. Over the past decade there has been an extremely high increase of whale beachings that seems to correlate with ocean noise.Today many researchers, scientists and biologists think there might be a link between whale beachings and ocean noise. The biggest question is whether the noise induced by humans is harmful or even lethal to all marine life.
