Peruvians enjoy eating guinea pig, which they call cuy

I am originally from Peru and remember hearing about eating "cuy", or guinea pig, but I never got the chance to try it. While searching on Youtube I realized that many people keep them as pets, so that explains the videos I have included here. The sites I have mentioned consider several aspects, like cooking it and they also include recipes. The guinea pig is originally from the high Andes, which includes Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia.

Dakar Race 2012: Argentina, Chile, Peru

We have the habit of watching the Dakar Race just after New Years and were happy when it continued being held in South America, like last year! The surprise this year was that it would be held in Argentina, Chile and Peru, which happens to be the country of my birth! I am writing this hub in honor of all those motocycle, car and truck drivers who have made the past two weeks so interesting! I was glad to see my flag displayed, as well as the food and drinks participants will be given to taste!
