Chris Murray , the original breeder of Teacup Pigs needed 9 years and 24 generations of breeding before he succeeded in getting the pigs to the miniature size that they are today. Teacup Pigs were originally named Pennywell miniatures, named after the farm in Devon, England where the first Teacup Pigs were born.
