Madeira Runway: Airport Runway on Pillars
Madeira Airport was most famously known for it's location, right by the sea in Maderia, Portugal. It was also know for it's extrememly short runway, which in former years was somewhat dangerous. In 2000, their expansion project was finally completed and now the airport is a lot more safe although still a bit difficult for pilots to land in.
