Can the poor provide a loving environment for pets and should they have pets? What about people living in confined spaces- should they have cats or other pets? For now I think that if a place and lifestyle is deemed socio-economically good for me then it for all practical purposes it is good for others including animals and we all benefit from activism for change as change happens. How far are we from putting down people when we put down pets because of socio-economic imperatives?
