As a child, Stevie Wonder studied classical piano and learned to play the synthesizer, organ, melodica, harmonica, clarinet, bongas, congas and drums. He signed on with Motown giant, Berry Gordy, Jr one year later in 1962. He has been a staunch activist for many humanitarian and peace causes since the 1980s.
