I had always enjoyed taking pictures, but with taking pictures for a shelter it became more than just a hobby. At the shelter it was the task to see the beauty in a homeless animal that I thought only I could see; and show it to those that couldn't! And make them love and adopt that homeless animal! Speed and quality became issues, because they don't hold still and a good picture could save their lives! So when I bought a Nikon D40, suddenly I had to understand photography Chinese!
