How to Knit a Cable Knit Sweater75

How to Knit a Cable Knit Sweater

Knit a beautiful cable knit sweater using the basic cross over method. There is nothing to it - just measure and graph your stitch allotment. When it comes to the actual cable design, the cross over stitches are held aside on another needle and reserved for later. When they are picked up later they result in a delightful braided look which looks great on men, women and children.

Stitching a cute frock for my daughter75

Stitching a cute frock for my daughter

Mostly, I do my stitching by myself. I haven’t learned stitching from a technical person. Everything has been done under a trial and error manner. Since I had a baby girl, I was wondering how I could stitch something for her. I longed for a baby girl, so that I could put cute dresses, accessories etc., which I loved most. I’m here by explaining my experience, of stitching a frock, for my daughter. Hope this may give some sort of idea in anybody.

Why I Love Cross Stitch80

Why I Love Cross Stitch

Countless women (and men) enjoy cross-stitching. They make bibs, blankets, towels and all sorts of little knick-knacks for themselves and others. However, it’s probably safe to say that many people – even those who cross-stitch on a regular basis –never realized that the act of cross-stitching has a great deal of spiritual applications.

Cute looking Skirt and Blouse for my Kid77

Cute looking Skirt and Blouse for my Kid

Here goes my latest experiment. I had stitched a cute looking skirt and blouse for my kid, who is 2.5yrs old. There was some meters of cloth remaining, once I did my churidar. So I just thought, how I could work on that to make a dress for my sweetie. Just for fun... I haven't learned stitching and cutting from and technical person and hence this may contain issues. Anyway, I found this one really interesting and hope this might light up some ideas for you.
