In this hub I attempt to very briefly discuss what I consider to be a disconnect between history, law, and economics in American intellectual culture. The result of this is that a thing outlawed in one form, is not only not outlawed as it shape-shifts, but indeed, is celebrated. This contributes to deepening class divisions and gives us something of a two-tier legal system with regard to class.
