The rich have always used the middle class as cannon fodder in a war against the poor. IN order to pay for the bankers bailout bonus and justify making the poor poorer Government has to prevent any sympathy for the poor by painting them as feckless scroungers. In the process -a working single mother has apparently been portrayed as an unemployed benefit scrounger, -estimates of fraud have been continuously inflated since the 90s - and six children, parents on benefits, were killed.
