Curling is becoming more well known since the advent of the Internet and especially since the awesome 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games that First Nations hosted as equal partners with other national sponsors. They televised more of the sport of curling than before and we were able to learn about it from TV. It is like shuffleboard on ice with longer, smoother, gliding follow through. I love it!

Viewing the Vancouver city skyline and then the coastline by ship as we passed sites like sailing schools, a spectacular lighthouse, commercial ships being loaded from piles of yellow sulfur and floating logs of lumber being transported to final destinations was fun. Riding back from Squamish to Vancouver on the historic Royal Hudson Steam Train was an experience we will not soon forget. Join us on this unique journey and enjoy the photos and videos.
