Ailanthus altissima: Tree of Heavenly Blessings (or Curses?)
Ailanthus altissima, commonly known as tree of heaven, is an Old World tree that is native to Taiwan and northeast and central China. Introduced into North America in Philadelphia in 1784, tree of heaven has adopted Canada and the United States as its new homelands.
