77World War 1 History: The Medium Mark A Whippet Tank
In 1918, the last year of World War I, the British introduced the Medium Mark A Whippet, a light and relatively fast tank armed with four machine guns. It was used to exploit holes in the lines created by its much heavier and slower heavy cousins, the Mark IV and Mark V tanks. During that time, they established themselves as one of the best tanks of the war.

76World War 1 History: First Tank Versus Tank Battle
On April 24, 1918 the first tank versus tank battle occurred. Three British Mark IV tanks (one male and two females) encountered three German A7V tanks. The two females (armed with machine guns only) were soon damaged and withdrew, leaving the male (armed with two 6-pounders and three machine guns to face the three “Monsters”.

I also found a number of excellent hubs about dog quotes, sayings and facts (see the links below). There are not as many sites about dog proverbs though.
