Teen students and teachers belonging to a secondary school in a rural area in Central Chile, use Red Wiggler Worms and other simple projects to introduce improvements in the lifestyle of smallholders involved in dry-lands subsistence farming. These activities had surprising results, such as a total change in the school curriculum with the introduction of farmland technical courses, and the construction of new and highly equipped school facilities.
