How To Use Headphones with Apple TV
If you have the latest 4th generation Apple TV and you want to use Bluetooth headphones to stream the audio to it's now supported and it works well with the inexpensive Bluedio Turbine T2 headphones tested here. Once you pair up the headphones to the Apple TV you can listen to Apple Music or watch movies (Netflix, Plex, Hulu, iTunes, you name it) and have the audio output wirelessly to the the headphones so you can listen as loud as you want without waking up the house or the neighbors.

Steps To Pairing Bluetooth Headphones with Apple TV:
1) Turn on the Bluetooth headset and wait until it's ready to pair
On the Bluedio Turbine T2s just turn on the power button and wait for the audio voice that says "ready to pair" in the headset. For other headphone manufacturers follow the instructions provided to get them into pairing mode.
2) Follow these steps on the Apple TV:
Once connected you should see a small volume icon appear at the top right of the TV screen indicating that audio is now outputting to the headphones. You should be able to hear the TV audio in the headphones at this point.
Note that if you have any issues connecting or streaming with these or any other Bluetooth headsets you should make sure that you have upgraded you Apple TV to the latest software update.
