I was not familiar with it until you posted this but at a quick glance:

It seems as is specifically targeted towards Wordpress and is probably more user friendly when it comes to our desired application, hosting for wordpress. I think the ease of this niche type hosting is great for newbies but perhaps it comes with a higher price tag for monthly hosting.

I have read several books on blogging and they all pretty much say the same thing; start with a free blog site like, free wordpress and even hubpages to get your feet wet.

I have actually learned a lot about successful ad placement & blogging architecture from posting right here on hubpages:

• Headlines

• Subheadings

• Images

• Block quotes

• Pull quotes

• Lists

• Links in the text

Things that are crucial for better reader/audience understanding.

Feel free to keep me updated! Hope this helps a little.

I don't recommednd GoDaddy, Yahoo and FatCow hosting AT ALL. most have bad panels and the services are overall bad. I don't recommend BlueHost, we had an issue with some of our sites and the security on their server is non-existent.

Get a hosting plan that runs on cPanel. DO NOT BOTHER with any providers that don't offer cPanel. It's easy to use and has all the features you will need, especially if you're not too experienced with running a site.

Good resources though, keep them coming ;)
