DISH Adds Channels to the Heartland Package for a New Channel Bundle

Looking for DISH channel packages for the whole family? Earlier this year, DISH introduced a wholesome new add-on package for customers who desired extra family-friendly channels their base package didn’t offer. Until recently, the Heartland Package offered 7 additional channels:

· Baby TV

· GMC

· Hallmark Channel

· Hallmark Movie Channel

· PixL

· RFD-TV

· Rural TV

This month, DISH pushed the total number of channels in the Heartland Package up to 10 with the addition of the Game Show Network (GSN), The Hub, and the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Not sure what’s on GSN, The Hub, or OWN? Here’s a basic description of what these new additions are all about:

· GSN - Game Show Network is the only TV network devoted exclusively to games, and today our programming includes a broad array of genres, casino games, reality/game show hybrids, physical games, documentaries, as well as its ever popular game shows.

· The Hub - A hub is a place where great things come together, and that’s what The Hub TV channel is all about! The Hub is a fun destination that brings kids and their families together to enjoy clever stories and engaging characters in new and classic comedies, animated adventures, movies, and live-action shows.

· OWN – The Oprah Winfrey Network features original programming presented by the host of the network, such as Oprah’s Lifeclass and Oprah’s Master Class, as well as inspiring specials, original documentaries documentary series, and movies.

The Heartland Package is still $5 per month. Want family movies on demand, too? It also includes over 3,000 free movie and show titles on DISH Online, which can be accessed with a DISH login on any PC.

If you’ve already been looking at DISH channel packages, you might be wondering: What’s the DISH Familytime Favorites bundle?
