Saving TouTube Video To Your Computer

All the videos on the YouTube can only be viewed on your PC and YouTube does not allow you to save them on your hard drive or desktop. YoyTube uses video streaming technology which means all the videos are played directly from their server where it is stored. However there are several websites and software programs available for free which will allow you to save YouTube videos and after saving it to your desktop you can watch it anytime you want, even if you are not connected to the internet.

The easiest way to do this is to use YouTube video downloader sites. Here is a list of few sites you can try:

To use these sites, you will need to go to the video you want to download on YouTube and then copy the video URL form the information box on the Youtube video page.

Once you've copied the video URL from YouTube video page, go to the video downloader site and paste that URL into the appropriate box and click the download button.

The site will then generate a download link and all you have to do is click on the link and save the video on you computer as .FLV format.

To play the downloaded file, you will need a video player program that can play back .FLV files.  Some popular programs are:
