Enjoying Wine Using the Latest Wine Accessories
Here you are ready to host a party and all these wine bottles before you. Guests are eagerly looking towards your way wondering when you will break out the bottles and start serving their drinks. For those who like to drink wine, this is when the pressure starts. You've carefully picked out the bottles of wine you'd like your guests to enjoy -- that part is easy. Serving guests a good bottle of wine requires something more. It requires gadgets. Do you know how hard it is to open a bottle of wine? First you must get rid of the foil that surrounds the top of the cork and bottle. That takes time. Then you have to pop the cork. That takes even more time. By the time you've opened the first bottle, guests have already heard your struggles and are lining up hoping to be one of the first to get at that precious liquid which took you so long to release.
Fear not. No need to create a social gaffe. There are many wine accessories out there to help you open and serve more than one bottle of wine without muss or fuss. They will help you to be prepared for any party at any occasion, holiday, or celebration.
Wine Foil Cutters
Here are some of the most effective foil cutters to slice through the toughest foil that France and California presents to you as a challenge. Would you believe that I initially didn't know that there was a wine accessory that specifically dealt with taking the foil from the wine bottle? While I was struggling with that piece of sheet metal, all I could think of was that there must be an easier way...
Electric Wine Openers
You may want to be a purist and use the manual corkscrew to open a bottle of wine. Be aware that if you're not an expert, you will struggle to pop that cork and if it's real cork and not plastic, your inexpert efforts may cause some of the cork to drop into the wine. If you have more than one bottle of wine to serve, then opening several bottles can be time consuming. Eliminate the hard work by using an electric wine opener or electric corkscrew. These new machines are rechargable and can open as many as 30 bottles on one charge. I think a wine opener is actually a necessity and certainly a major wine accessory.

Certain red wines need to breathe to taste better. It used to be that you would pour wine into a decanter to allow the air to breathe and set it aside for a couple of hours before enjoying it. An aerators compresses that time to a few minutes so that you can enjoy that wine from the moment the bottle of wine is opened and poured. And I gotta say, nothing is more impressive than serving wine through an aerator. It's like 22nd century wine accessory.
Wine Saver and Stopper
After the party is over and you still have open bottles of wine or if you are enjoying a bottle of wine and still have some left over, it's a waste for the wine to go bad if you don't finish it within an extra day. Preserve your wine by using a wine saver such as the Vacu Vin that takes the air out of an open bottle of wine and then prevent air from coming in by plugging it up with an effective wine stopper. The wine saver set even comes with wine pourers.
You might also try the Metrokane Wine Pourer that comes with a stopper. Once you've opened the bottle of wine, insert the pourer and plug up the wine bottle with the stopper until you're ready to pour again. However, once you've opened a bottle of wine, you should really finish it wihin a few days, anything more than a week is not good.
