FACEBOOK CANADA LOGIN RATES SKYROCKET

Facebook is as popular in Canada as in any part of the world. More than half a billion users use the social networking site founded by Mark Zuckerberg, although it isn’t even a decade old yet.

If Facebook's advertising statics are to believed, as of late 2010, there were almost 17 and a half million Facebook 'users' in Canada. Not bad for a country with a population base of slightly over 33 million! That figure places Canada in the top 10 Facebook using counties in the work (The US is ranked number 1 with over 140 Million users)

Despite that fact (or because of it), there has been much criticism in Canada over privacy and security issues concerning the giant social networking site. Canada's Privacy Commissioner has been a vocal critic of Facebook's practices in the past.

Any apprehensions Canadian officials may have clearly have not stopped the citizenry from flocking to Facebook. In fact for the longest time, the city of Toronto had the largest number of Facebook users. Perhaps that was one of the reasons why Facebook opened it's Canadian offices in Toronto, in 2009
