Facebook like exchange: social networking plug in website review
Likeback.net A Facebook like exchange website:review
The first thing you will realize about this “Facebook plug-in” is the fact that it has a shoddy website. There are no terms and conditions nor tips on how to use the site.
I have tried it for a couple of weeks and have not seen much of a following on my Facebook Fan page yet. Furthermore, there seems to be a great emphasis on paying the site Likeback.net for you to get followers.
The website interface
The first thing that hits you on this site is the advert on the right… not exactly what you are looking for. As for information about how the site works, this is part of the information they provide “There is a points system where you will setup how many point you want to give others if they liked your page. The same, you will receive points from other users when liking their pages.” Upon trying this out, it seems a long and hard road to accumulate points on the site.
The catch
As mentioned above, the catch seems to be that you will be pushed more towards paying for fans rather than following others to be followed as is the case with other sites such as Twiend (for tweeter followers).
Verdict
As a site using Facebook's popularity, they lack in a lot of ways in that they are not well set up nor are they popular enough (only 75 likes at the time of going to press- 4 September 2011). With such a low figure for something they purport to do, I do not think they are worth your time and effort.
Unless you are a user in Canada where it is more popular according to Alexa.com it is better you steer clear of this Facebook like exchange website as you are more than likely to get suckered into “buying fans”.
My tip for Facebook followers/ Fans
I would recommend following people on sites that you are already working on such as Hubpages.com, redgage.com and so on. This is more organic as you will have something in common and you will not have to “pay for fans”.
