HTML basic tips and tutorial- text coloring

Learn basic HTML text coloring

In this Hub i am going to show how to color text via HTML code. A few of us may not know  how to color a text in HTML, those who are searching for learning basic HTML text coloring then you are mostly welcome in this hub. It's an easy process. Although i am also a beginner learner in HTML but i will try my best to explain something useful. So lets start learning this basic HTML lesson,

(This hub is only for newbie HTML learners)

suppose you want to color(Red) the sentence , "I love reading articles in Hubpages". At first you have to type the following code

<font color="Red">

and then you should type the sentence "I love reading articles in hubpages"

SO in an aggregate form the real code will be,

<font color="Red">I love reading articles in hubpages

It's done ,You will notice that the sentence has been colored. But still you need to learn something more,

If you want to Bold the sentence as well then, what should you do? It's easy , You just have to add <b> for making it bold. If you want to Underline it then you have to put, <U>

so now if you want to write the whole sentence in red color and also in bold and underline form, then we have to type,

<B><U><font color="Red">I love reading articles in hubpages

But now what ever you will type after this code it will be in red colored ,Bold and Underlined form, so if you want to write the next sentence with normal color then you have to add another simple code , </font> , if you don't want the next sentence in bold letters then you have to add the code </b> , and same for underline </u> . So here you can easily understand that putting </> means disabling the action.

So now we want to type the sentence "I love reading article in hubpages" in Bold, underline and red colored form and the next sentence " but i hate reading stupid articles" in normal form. then you have to type the following code

<B><U><font color="Red">I love reading articles in hubpages</font></b></u> But i hate reading stupid articles

again , When we write a poem we don't write the sentence in a stretch , we need to write the sentence in the next line, in that case you have to another bar code, <br> , when you add this code the sentence will be shown in the starting of next line. so , if you want to write the sentence "I love reading articles in hubpages" in Bold, Underline and red colored form and the sentence "but i hate reading stupid articles" without any Bold, colored & underlined form and also starting from the next line you have to type the following code

<B><U><font color="Red">I love reading articles in hubpages</font></b></u><br> But i hate reading stupid articles

Hope those who were searching for basic HTML tags tutorial at least learned something from all of my examples. Please don't for get to comment and rate this hub if you like it

The font tag has been removed in HTML5, you will now need to use CSS to change the text color. The tag has also disappeared in HTML5. It is best to stay updated because the web standards keep changing.
