Add Administrative Tools to start menu of windows 7
To add Administrative Tools to start menu of windows 7, first you need to be a power user or administrator. Administrative tools can also be accessed through control panel but this process is time consuming and a bit difficult for the administrators. To add administrative tools to start menu without going into the control panel use the process mentioned below;
First right click on the start menu button. A popup menu will appear on the screen having two options in it. Select the option of properties placed at the top, then a new window of ‘taskbar and start menu properties' will appear. Select the ‘start menu' button from it and then select the option of ‘customize'.
After selecting the ‘customize' option you will be taken to a new window from there select the option of ‘display on the all programs menu and the start menu' from the ‘customize start menu' window. Click on the OK button to save and confirm the changes you made regarding the display settings and close out the remaining windows from the screen. Now when you will go back and re open the start menu you will see the option of Administrative Tools in the start menu and from there you can select different types of settings and other option available in the Administrative tools.
Moreover if you want to add a shortcut of administrative tools on the desktop you can also do that by just right clicking on the administrative tools button and dragging it to the desktop screen. Windows 7 provides these simple features which allow users to access the administrative tools section in an easy and fast way as adding the administrative tools from control panel to the start menu is a bit different and irritating for the users.
