How To Install Apps on Samsung Mobiles[GT-S5233S and others] Downloaded from The Internet
Do You use a Samsung Mobile which only supports Java Apps and Games? But, you are not able to install apps and games downloaded from the internet? Here is a simple trick, using which you can install Java Apps and Games on your Samsung Mobile.
Here is what happens:
- You Download an app from a website to your computer (.jar or .jad files)
- You transfer that app from your computer to your mobile phone through any medium.
- But, when you tap on that app, it shows you an error saying: File Not Valid / Format Not Supported / Invalid File.
The Real Problem
The Real Problem? Well, it's not that your Samsung Mobile can't install it! I will explain you the problem with an example:
Have you tried to download an app to mobile phone from the mobile's browser? When you do so, the app or game gets transferred to the "Games and More" folder in the application menu. And after that you're able to run that app.
So, what do you think the problem is?
The Working Solution:
You have to create a simple HTML file (don't worry if you don't know HTML, there is a sample below this para), where you have to create an anchor (URL) pointing to the downloaded .jar or .jad file. First, create a folder on your computer desktop named "Install" in that folder, copy the .jar file you want to install and rename the .jar file to "Install.jar". After that, open Notepad, copy the HTML code given below this para and then save it as "install.html" inside the "Install" folder you just created.
<!doctype html> <html> <head> <title>Install!</title> </head> <body> <center> <a href="install.jar">Tap Here to Install The App!</a> </center> </body> </html>
