How to Change Time & Date

On Amazon, even the improved manual has mistakes or missing instructions. I took the image from the manual found here and corrected the diagram which was wrong and wrote out the instructions to change Time & Date which was missing.

Turn on unit

A) Press Parking Monitor red button marked '(p)', (#6). Camera Icon on upper left corner should be displayed.

B) Press Menu/Mode button (#3)

C) Press Parking Monitor red button marked '(p)', (#6). It is now in settings menu with the Icon of hammer & wrench highlighted in yellow.

D)Press the Up button (#5) until Date & Time is highlighted in yellow.

E) Press 'OK 'ENTER button (#2)

F) Press the Up button (#5) for month MM, then Parking Monitor red button marked '(p)', (#6) to set, advances to date DD.

G) Press the Up button (#5) for date, then Parking Monitor red button marked '(p)', (#6) to set, advances to year YYYY.

H) Press the Up button (#5) for year YYYY, then Parking Monitor red button marked '(p)', (#6) to set, Hour (24 hour military format only)

I) Press the Up button (#5) for minutes then Parking Monitor red button marked '(p)', (#6)

Vendor's Video How To

Above video doesn't show you how to change Time & Date but only to have it turned on or off.

Although the manual is lousy and confusing for $28 from Amazon - that's real cheap. The one I have is a generic version of this. It was in Chinese language mode when I got it and I just pressed a bunch of buttons madly until I got English.

I bought it out the box at a Flea Market for $5. :)

If your 32Mb memory card full of video is unable to play on PC it's because all the files are corrupted due to the card being full to the max. To avoid a full memory card:

DO NOT use the GPS lock mode.

DO use the loop mode.

Do NOT use the LOCK button. If something happens and you do not want it written over then keep a spare memory chip in glove box to switch out memory cards,. This is so you are sure you have your video intact.

Can download VLC to play videos, it's free and cross platform.
