How to Add Twitter Most Recent Updates to Blogger or Blogspot

Here is a quick and easy guide to add Twittter most recent updates to blogger. If you have a blog hosted with blogger and want to add a widget that displays your most recent tweets then this guide is for you. So lets get right to it.

The first thing to do is log into your Twitter account. If you don't already have a Twitter account you can sign up for free one at the main website twitter.com. The link is Twitter.com Sign up is fast and easy and only a couple questions are required like username, email address, and provide password.

Once you have logged into your account find the Settings link usually in the upper right corner of the page for Twitter.

Next this will bring you to a page where you can make changes to the settings for the Twitter account you are logged into. Find the Profile tab and click on that. Scroll down the page until you find the entry Web [this entry will show in your profile not on blogger continue reading] 

Right below the entry Web it should say something like "Have a homepage or blog? Put the address here" and below that a link that says "(You can also add Twitter to your site here)" click on that.

This next page Goodies>widgets says Select Your Widget. Click on My Website then click on Profile Widget. Make sure the Username matches in the username box make any changes to the appearance this gives you a preview of what the widget will look like on your blog.

Once happy with the style at the bottom theres a link that says Finish & Grab Code. Click that then you can either copy paste the code to your blogger or click the add to blogger link. You might have to log into your blogger account for the changes to take place and to be sure it goes to the correct blog if you have multiple blogs with blogger.

Quick note under dimensions there is a small box that says auto width. You can check it if your having troubles making the widget fit properly in the blogger template your using. Also the widget can be changed unlimited amount of times so don't worry if it doesn't come out right the first time.
