How to delete a Facebook account
It is possible to delete a Facebook account
I don't care what anyone says, I know for a fact that it is possible to delete your Facebook account. The steps are rather simple, but for some reason people always seem to mess them up, probably because they are too addicted to Facebook to actually follow one simple instruction. Here's what you need to do:
- Go here: https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account
- Click "Submit"
- Here's the hardest part: STAY AWAY FROM FACEBOOK FOR 14 DAYS!!! This is where everyone messes up. If you attempt to login to your account just to check if it's working or not, your deactivation request will automatically be canceled. Facebook does this so people who forget to log off their Facebook on public computers won't get their accounts deleted by nefarious pranksters. All they have to do is access Facebook from anywhere in the world and their account is reactivated.
A list of things you can do now that Facebook is out of the picture
Here are some things that people used to do with their free time before they spent it spying on their friends and ex's:
- Restore a classic car
- Tie dye a t-shirt
- Read a classic novel
- Learn a foreign language
- Travel without your computer
- Work on home improvements
