Best New Motherboards 2012 - 2013 - Socket 1155 Z68
Looking for a great Intel motherboard to compliment the new CPU that you are looking at or already purchased? You aren't alone. Intel's new 2nd generation of "i" series have left me a raving fan and because of that I recently purchased the Intel i7-2600k CPU as an upgrade for my photoshop, gaming, and movie watching addiction.
Because of the various research I've done around the web I decided I'd write a top 10 list of the best Intel motherboards I've come across while in my search.

If you're a performance enthusiast and need all the bells and whistles for design or gaming, then the Asus P8Z68-V-PRO is a great motherboard in a moderate price range of about $200. It's hard to ignore the 5 star ratings on this board across this the Internet for this board. Some of it has to do with the reliability and ease of setup that many people have found and some of it has to do with the incredible features you get for this board for around $50 less.
The ASRock P67 Extreme4 was a recommended buy from Tom's Hardware for just this reason. It comes with support for up to 4 8B DDR3 Dimm sticks at up to 2133 speed (overclocked). For those looking for a multi-GPU setup it comes with support for Quad CrossfireX and Quad SLI.
Additional specifications for this motherboard include 2 USB 3.0, 6 USB 2.0, 4 Sata 3Gb/s, and 4 Sata 6Gb/s ports. It also comes with a 2 years manufacturer's warranty.
