Keyboard Shortcuts for Facebook

Did you know facebook had its own shorcuts, well i never. Its so funny and surprising(at least to me) , i can't believe i even had the time to cram and store all of them in my always dumb brain, may be i'm a Facebook addict!

For those addicts like me, this might work for you by speeding your social networking needs.

See the list below:

Alt+1: Takes you to your Facebook's homepage

Alt+3: Friend requests

Alt + ?: Enables Search

Alt+6: Takes you to Account page

Alt+2: Takes you to your Facebook profile page

Alt+4: Messages

Alt + ?: Enables Search

Alt+5: Notifications

Alt+7: Privacy settings

Alt+8: Facebook's page on Facebook

Alt+9: Facebook Terms of Use

Alt+m: Compose a new message

Alt+0: Facebook Help Center

However Note:

These shortcuts work perfectly if you are using the Google chrome browser.

If you are using Internet Explorer, you need to press "Enter" after each combination.

If you are using Firefox you have to add "Shift" to the Alt combination
