Kindle Fire Better Buy Now If You Want One For Christmas

The Kindle Fire is going to be at the top of everyone's Christmas list this year. In fact it's already selling off the shelves and it hasn't actually been released yet. The Kindle Fire is due for release on Nov 15th 2011 and pretty much everyone wants one.

Because of this if you want one for Christmas this year then you really must get your order in right away. Literally thousands of people already have one on pre-order and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they don't sell out quickly. So don't risk disappointment for everyone on your Christmas list who wants a Kindle Fire. I've always wanted a Kindle and for once I've decided to proactive and just placed my order this morning, it's going to be my Christmas present for myself this year.

The Kindle Fire makes a great gift for most everyone on your Christmas list whether they are technology buffs, readers of all ages and students who enjoying watching movies and videos. And at $199 it makes a fairly affordable gift.

A Little About The Kindle Fire

The Kindle Fire which is powered by Wi Fi is a powerful little tablet computer with a 7 inch display. The powerful little tablet is pretty light weight and weighing in at 14.6 oz making it light enough to easily carry in your purse or bookbag.

It also has 8GB of internal storage which is enough to store plenty of movies, apps, music and books. And if that's not enough you also have free access to Amazon Cloud. The battery life varies depending on your tasks, for instance you can get 8 hours of reading and 7.5 hours of video playback with the wireless off. With the wireless on this will probably vary a bit.

It fully charges within 4 hours and can be charged via your computer with a usb cord or can also be charged using an adapter. The Kindle Fire has a one year limited warranty or you can also go for the extended two year warranty which is probably the way that I'll go.

Although the Kindle Fire is pretty durable if your purchasing one as a gift for a child I would suggest getting the two year warranty, as this will save you some headaches in the long run. And for pretty much the same reasons you might also want to pick up a sleeve or case for your new tablet computer.
