Nokia Lumia 900 - Larger and Better than the Lumia 800
What's the difference between the Nokia Lumia 900 and Lumia 800 models?
The new Nokia Lumia 900 is the latest addition to Nokia Windows Phone portfolio and although replicates many of the features found in the original Lumia 800 model it adds in some extra technology and features.
Joined recently by the Nokia Lumia 610 as an entry level handset to the range, the Lumia 900 is the new 'king of the show' which offers everything the previous 800 model does but with a larger touch screen display.
The new 4.3 inch AMOLED screen with ClearBlack technology makes internet browsing, watching back video and showing off your high quality pictures a much more enjoyable experience, the extra size of the screen is also great for gamers and has a pixel resolution of 480 x 800.
New features added to the Lumia 900 include a 1 mega pixel front facing camera for those that like to make video calls and access to the iCloud storage service for extra memory over and above the internal 16GB on offer.
The Nokia Lumia 900 has exactly the same camera as the Lumia 800 at 8 mega pixels using Carl Zeiss optics and recording 720p HD video clips, the phone is also run by the same processor at 1.4GHz with 512MB of RAM.
Although not a major upgrade in terms of features, the Lumia 900's bigger screen will appeal to many smart phone users as its the same size offered by top-selling handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S2, Sony Xperia S and HTC One S.
Currently released in both a black and a white colour scheme the Lumia 900 is also set to be launched in a cyan blue housing very soon.
