Pink vtech Kidizoom Plus Digital Camera

If your little budding photographer has been begging you to get her a camera, then she is going to love the Pink Kidizoom Plus Digital Camera from vtech (yes it also comes in other colours too, but hey pink is still the coolest colour for girls to get so that’s the one I’m going to be talking about here).

Vtech say it’s from ages three and up so you know it’s going to be sturdy if it’s for children as young as that.  And it definitely is, because my child has dropped it more times than I can count and it still works fine.

The picture quality is pretty good for a kids digital camera, and while it isn’t going to compare to your expensive Canon camera (nor would you expect it to), for children it’s decent enough.

What’s New in the Kidizoom Plus Camera?

This updated version of the Kidizoom camera can hold many more photos than the original (up to 500 I believe) and because it’s a 2.0 Megapixel camera the resolution is so much better now.

Plus it also includes some games and different functions such as distorting the photo that it didn’t have before.

You can do everything you’d expect to do with a digital camera – take photos, view them, edit them, and put them onto the computer or print them out.  It comes with a USB cable for attaching the camera to your computer or directly to the printer.

The cute additions like adding stamps, frames and other images to your photos is a nice touch for kids and girls seem to like adding the embellishments to their favourite pics.

Once they reach the age of eight or more you can upgrade them to a better camera if you want to, but for now this will do the job nicely.

So if you want to stop your daughter from using your own digital camera but don’t want to stifle their creativity then this is a great little camera for her (and it’s pink, so what more can I say).
