a. Insert Your SIM card into your GSM Phone.

b. Switch ON your Mobile phone.

c. Enter the 4 digits PIN 1 code, which appears on the housing of your SIM card.

d. Your SIM card will be activated after you make your first call.

Note :- Please keep the housing(where the sim card was kept first) of your SIM card for further usage of PIN and PUK code.

How to recharge Your account through recharge card ?

Choose one of the following Options :

• Dial *102* 13 digits PIN numbers # and then press the call button. Or
• Dial 90012 and then enter the 13 digits PIN number of your recharge card.
• Send SMS to 90012 with the 13 digits PIN number.

Virtual Fund Transfer

You can recharge your account for Rs.50.* and above from any of the nearest Ncell authorized outlets.

How to check your Account balance?

Choose one of the following options:

• Dial *101* and than press call button.
• Dial 90011.
• Send blank SMS to 90011.

Please Note :- The first 30 calls to IVR are free of charge. Your calls will be charged at our standard rate after you exceed 30 calls.

· The amount mentioned on the virtual fund Transfer is subject to charge as per the company's policy.

SIM Card Security

SIM card is your Personal identification and you can access Ncell services thorough it.

The 4 digits code or PIN 1 (Personal Identification Number)secures your SIM card from being misused by others . Your PIN 1 number appears on the housing of your SIM card. The SIM card will be partly blocked after three(3) unsuccessful attempts of entering the PIN 1.

For Unlocking the PIN, Use 8 digits PUK 1 code(Personal Unblocking Key). Which appears on the housing of your SIM card. The SIM card will be fully blocked after 10 Unsuccessful attempts of entering PUK 1. In such case, You can replace the SIM card with the same mobile number.

You can change your PIN 1 code or switch OFF the PIN 1 Request from your mobile "security Settings" But this will not protect your mobile form being misused by unauthorized users.

In case you forget your PIN/PUK Security code, you may contact Ncell centre at 9005.

If Your SIM card Is Damaged

Your mobile screen displays the following "Insert SIM", "SIM rejected", "Invalid SIM", "SIM Error" Or "SIM Blocked" then you need to visit the Ncell Centre to replace your SIM Card.

You can exchange short text messages with Ncell subscribers as well as subscribers of other mobile operators within and outside Nepal.

Your Handset is automatically set to send and receive SMS. However, if your message setting gets accidentally deleted or changed then you can follow the instruction below to reset it.

steps:-

• -Go to message setting in message menu and select text messages.
• -Enter +9779800009000 as message centre number and set the message format as text.

To send SMS within Nepal:

• -type the message, follow the dialing format and send.
• -+977 or 0 -operator code- mobile number.
• Eg. to 0980xxxxxxx or +97798510xxxxx

To send SMS outside Nepal

• -type the message, follow the international dialing format and send, + or 00-country code-operator code-mobile no.
• Eg. (Dialing format to India) 00-91-94302xxxxx
• Note One message includes 160 characters.

How to activate Web sms in Ncell sim card.

steps

• first get your password, through your mobile.
• for that send req on *900#
• you will get several menu send no '5' in answer option.
• now you will ask for change your password or create new password.(for eg. 1234)
• now
• go to ncell website ncell.com.np
• in right side you will get a box in that you will see mmbox, my account and prbt.
• click on my account, and type your no and password.
• and finally you will see your account info. there.(like your name, citizenship number phone no, remaining balance etc.)
• at your left you will see four menu click on 3rd once and you will see send sms option.click on that and enjoy 10 sms free on ncell to ncell
